Checkstay components question

I own Distraction, a 1987 911s (Pacific Boats hull 020) in San Diego. When I bought it a year and a half ago, it was missing it's checkstay hardware. I'm looking to replace it. The checkstay car tracks on the deck (alongside the cabin) are Harken, and measure 1.25" wide by .75" tall, and are about 3' in length. The slots on the Ballenger spar (near the lower spreader) for the t-balls looks (visually looking from the deck) to be about 7/16" to 1/2" wide.

I'm guessing that the original setup had wire stays with turnbuckles at the cars and that you adjusted them so you got the maximum tension you wanted when the cars were pulled all the way back on the track.

Does anyone have a parts list (or part numbers) (or pictures) of their checkstay rigging components? Any recommendation on diameter of the stays?
