Klaus, I totally agree with your comments regarding prices. We purchased a
1990 Ericson Olson in Jan'04 in Vancouver BC. The surveyor's fair market
price was 64k CDN. at that time, with an estimated replacement cost of 145k
CDN. Clean boats in good shape get top dollar. A local broker I raced with
said that the Olson 911's have been unofficially nominated by many brokers
in the Pacific Northwest as the best 30 foot racer/cruiser ever designed.
The difficult part is finding one.
