I am the owner of a 1985 Capo 30, Hull No. 8, built by Westerly. I
purchased the boat in 1993 from Toledo Beach. It is the former " Gratiot
Beach" from Lake Eire. We race on Lake St Croix near St. Paul,
Minnesota. The boat is still competitive, last year we won our division
against several J 80's, a J 105 and a J 27 and we have won our first
four races this year. We race mostly in the evenings and the wind is
typically in the 6-12 knot range. We sail with North sails, sail number
25752.
