Friday night we went out for a couple of hours and came home to find Buddy
not breathing right. He was fine all day. He had massive fluid on his lungs.
We rushed him to the local emergency room and they had trouble getting the
fluid out of his lungs and re-hydrating him. We stayed all night and got
home around 5:30 Saturday morning and got a call that he had heart
failure. We rushed back but he was gone. This is devastating to us. We are
still grieving Huggy’s loss from 14 months ago. Both deaths are a mystery.
We are having an autopsy this time to determine the cause.
We wish we had the faith of Job but we don’t. We don’t know how we can go on at this point. These boys were our babies. Huggy was the black and tan and Buddy was the ruby and white. Huggy was 4 and Buddy was 7 ½. We were just looking forward to going away on vacation together for two weeks.
