I don't think there is a standard forestay length. It is a matter of taste and boat tuning.

I use CNG on my boat for the water heater and stove. The tank is stowed in the Port lazarette as near to the center line as possible and about 1 ft aft of the cabin bulkhead. Of course it is not on board for racing since it is very very heavy.

  To All,

Does anyone have the standard measurements for the forestay. I am not getting enough mast rake. I have a Harken furler on board, and have a feeling when it was installed the forestay was shortened.

On another note, is there anyone with a propane stove installed? Where is the tank mounted, etc?

  Cheers to All
