My boat came with a two blade feathering Maxi. It has an adjustable pitch by resetting gears when the prop cover is open. I also had a problem with engine rpm until I reduced the pitch by two degrees, but I can't remember whether it was 24 down to 22 or 22 down to 20. In any event it worked just great afterwards.
