I HAVE A UNIVERSAL M3-20 (18 HP), 15" MARTEC ELIPTICAL 12" PITCH THIS PROP WORK GREAT , BUT, IT IS TOO MUCH FOR THE ENG. REV LIMIT IS 3600RPM WITH THIS PROP 2600 IS THE TOP END ( INCLUDE HIGH FUEL CONSUMPTION AT THIS LEVEL)
AT 2000- 2200 MAKES ABOUT 6.5 KNTS.
I WAS THINKING OF CHANGING TO A MAX PROP; THE REC SIZE IS A 13" WITH 12" PITCH.
THE BEAUTY OF THIS PROP IS THAT THE PITCH IS ADJUSTABLE SO IF THE MOTOR EXCEEDS THE
REV LIMIT OR DOES NOT REACH THE SPEC , YOU CAN PITCH IT UP OR DOWN WITH OUT REPLACMENT.
IN SEATLE PYI HANDLE THEM . $1100 U.S.
HOPE THIS HELPS
NIGEL ("MAGIC BULLET" IN VICTORIA)
P.S. THE CLASSIC TWO BLADE HAS A VERY LOW DRAG PROFILE AND IS GREAT IN REVERSE. Received on Fri Jun 28 20:45:03 2002
