I've replaced my Martec prop with a MaxProp. Better handling in reverse,
less vibration, better design - but expensive. You can have my old Martec
cheap if your looking for a used one. It's been serviced regularly by Martec
and is in very useable condition.

I have an Olson 911SE with the stock Universal 18 and the stock fixed blade prop. I am interested in getting a folding prop, maybe a Martec. Do you have any recommendations? If you have a Martec Eliptec Mark 3, do you know which exact model it is (pitch, diameter, etc.)? Has it worked well for you? Thanks for your response!

Jeff, sorry I can't be of help. My prop was installed by the pevious owner and all I've ever done is had it rebuilt. I don't have any of the specs. It is a Martec and it's performed very well. I can't imagine dragging around a fixed prop.
I would suspect that any of the better prop distributors could give you the right recommendation for a replacement. Failing that, I've published your inquiry to the rest of the owners and perhaps one of them has your answer. Good luck. Received on Tue Jun 18 12:30:02 2002
