I'd like to make a pitch for the Fall and Windjammer series. I've posted about this on the CYC discussion web site. Currently CYC plans to drop the 2000 Fall series and condense the 2001 Jan series into one day of racing. I love to race 2 buoy races on Sat in Oct/Nov/Jan/Feb starting at the civilized hour of 11AM and ending well before dark. No time to get chilled, our only regular heavy-air season too -- we don't want to become light-air specialists.
Attendance is the key. Show up at the Windjammer this Jan -- Jan 8, 22, Feb 5th. 2 races each day! I personally will buy every O30 skipper who shows up a beer each day!
