I read your response to the spinlock ?, and I have a follow-up....
I have 4 XT doubles on my boat. I have replaced the cams in four of the eight clutches. However, the handles frequently will not stay open when they are pushed all the way forward. They tend to close by themselves at the worst time - like the leeward mark rounding - forcing the pit to babysit them.
Will replacing the handles on these units correct the situation, or are there other parts that also get worn, making replacement of the entire unit the "best" option.
