The original duffel bags were very small, unattractive, orange and made of
canvas. I suggest you go to any canvas shop and ask them the cost of sewing
onto a modern duffel bag the rope appendage that slides into the aluminum
installation. The rope was dacron wrapped in canvas sewn along the length of
the rope, with the remaining canvas sewn into the bag. The edges of the remaining strip were sewn and sewn in the middle to prevent bagging. If you
want to hold costs down you can go buy a cheap duffle bag at one of your local
sport shops.

You might consider using a much larger bag than the original size, as I suspect you would find 2 larger more useful bags to be more useful than the 4
smaller bags that the 4 tracks were cut to accommodate. Frankly, 2 large kevlar bags mounted on a lengthened track sounds rather interesting.
