i just reread your message ......i also broke one lower shroud on my old
single spreader rig , and it seems
like the same place : where the rod exits the T-ball fitting .....that
happened 'cause i tightened the turnbuckle
and got a twist in the rod .....so , you always have to make sure the ends
in the turnbuckle rotate freely ....
i still have the uppers and two new Dieform - wire lowers with turnbuckles &
T - ball fittings ...for a single spreader rig ....Willi / Think Fast
