All,
I apologize for being off topic, but I thought someone might be interested...
The Scoundrel Regatta Van is for sale.
Green 1979 Ford Econoline 150 with the following features:
302 V8
3 speed manual with overdrive
92,000 miles - my grandma bought the van new, and it sat idle for much of
the 1980s - honest
2 Captains Chairs (done in cool green vinyl)
Frame mounted bumper with 2 5/16" ball - I don't know the capacity - we
have towed a variety of things over the years
AM radio (doesn't work)
Half Rack of Rainier - courtesy of Bad Dog (I have been keeping the beer as
a souvenir of my first race in Seattle - the Bad Dog tried to climb into
our cockpit during the first beat)
Umbrella - we just don't need it in Long Beach
Currently located in Seattle - but not for long
I have been using the van as a mobile storage unit and trailer jockey in the Shilshole yard. The van runs okay and has been to two national regattas (Seattle and Whidbey Island). I haven't used the van to tow the boat too far, but it does great around the marina.
The price is very low. If you are interested, give me a call - 562.989.6715.
