Hi,
I crew on an Olson 30 in the Hudson river. We have just finished the =
around long island regatta and have discovered it is time for a new =
motor. We currently have the modified Tecumseh inboard and have =
decided, for a variety of reasons, to replace it with an outboard. Does =
anyone have a good recommendation for an outboard? We are debating the =
size of the motor since we are trying to keep weight at a minimum but =
could face, in a worst case scenario, 5-6 knots of current (the east =
river). Any recommendations would be appreciated, we need to buy the =
motor before Friday to return the boat - we had to put in along the =
Connecticut shore.
