Fellow Frisco Fleeters:
We want to nail down the plans for the 4 race day on July 10th (remember the fleet meeting way back when?)
Kim Dincel, formerly head honcho of the Zephyros gang, has volunteered to make this happen if we let him run with it. He will take care of approaching yacht clubs, setting up committee and boat, etc.
The plan is to have 4 fairly short races, venue unknown...possibly RYC, EYC, South Beach, etc.
Annette and I say let him go wild, we know he'll do a great job, but want to "throw it out there" first. Please respond to the fleet (or us) by Friday, April 30th, if there are objections to this plan.
Otherwise, we will go for it, and mark July 10th on your calendars...we will update via phone & e-mail when venue and schedule are set!
Hope to see you all out there May 15th for the ODCA opener!!!
