re Doublehanded Farallones Race
Was rummaging around in Santa Cruz this afternoon, and noticed that Stray Cat was back in the SCYC storage yard.
Heard thru a very reliable source that Stray Cat was first Olson to round, and likely first to finish, followed by Run Wild. (Also that Pepe flew in from the Caribbean to do this race with Rebecca).
Conditions were reported to be consistently over 30 knots, with large seas. Several dis-mastings, and one missing crew off a J-29.
