Agree that the one-design aspect of the O-30 makes it a desirable boat, but
I don't notice a huge difference in performance. I raced with Dan Nitake on
Tsiris a couple of years ago, and found that with decent crew work, we could
run at the front of the 30 fleet. And each boat has its conditions. If you
want an owners perspoective, and pretty unbiased, I believe, talk to Dan.
