Fellow Olson 30 owners and crew,

I bought an Olson 30 in 1997 and rigged it for singlehanding with the intention of doing the Singlehanded Transpac in 2000 or 2002. In the meantime I am keeping my boat in Redwood City and enjoy South Bay YRA, Sequoia YC, and Wednesday night beer can races when my work allows it.

If you live in Silicon Valley and would enjoy the occasional South Bay race, please drop me an email with your name and phone as well as interest and availability.

I know PHRF South Bay racing cannot compare with One Design racing in the bay, but it's a still a lot of fun and, especially on Wednesday evenings, you don't have to fight traffic to get a little sailing action.

I am a relative newcomer to sailboat racing and I would really welcome advice and training from experienced O30 racers.

Thanks,

Alberto
