As some of you already know, I am looking for a charter opportunity for the Newport-Ensenada race. We are interested in something larger than an Olson 30 (maybe an Olson 40, Express 37, ??), but would be interested in any thoughts.
If a charter doesn't work out, I (and another owner) would be interested in crew spots. If anyone thinks they will need crew, please contact me.
As a last resort, we may truck one of the boats (Olson 30 or Hobie 33) to the event. Any advice about where to keep the boat and how to get the trailer to Mexico would be appreciated. Quite frankly, any secrets - or not so secrets - on any subject even remotely related to recent Newport-Ensenada trips would be appreciated.
