I think that you will get your 3 secs back if your sail measures in at 153% , but if you think that a PHRF rating of 69 is tough , here on Lake Ontario (Fleet 8) we get a PHRF of 63 with the class Genoa.
Luckily we have enough J-35s that for all the regatta's we have class racing , so PHRF is immaterial , but for the distance and point to point races where we have to race handicap, there are few kind words for the LO handicaper .
