Season's Greetings to All,
This post is to let all recipients of the J/35 mailing list know that there is a new discussion forum available throught the J/35 Class Association Web page (www.j35.org). It is anticipated that many users will participate in discussions using the new forum and you are invited to take part.
If you wish to receive postings in the form of e-mail, you can do so. Take a look at the forum page (http://www.j35.org/Discus.html) and create a profile for yourself. You are encouraged to poke around and spend a few minutes with the documentation. It's not difficult and many new options, including formating and including images are available. One of the options is to receive e-mail notification of new posts in your topic(s) of interest. (There's many other classes and topics hosted on the server we use!) Another advantage of creating a profile is the ability to review all new posts since the last time you checked messages, and have those messages displayed in the convenient "tree layout" the discussion forum allows (see "New Messages" under the Utlities section).
I hope you'll all join in the conversations already springing up on the board. Some recent messages from the mailing list have been posted as a way to getting things started, and a link to the web site that archives the current mailing list is also included.
