In the last two weeks of sailing, STEAMBOAT has developed about a 5" crack
in the mast about 7 inches above the partner. I've heard anecdotal reports
of other J/35's having the same problem. My mast is at the riggers now
being repaired, but I would be interested in hearing from any other owners
that have had this occur.
