I own a J-35 (#253) and am trying to come up with a strategy to solve the
leaking problem on all of the nibo/bomar opening ports on the boat. Kits
are available for the forward
and quarter berth ports but not for the four that are located in the main
cabin which are the worst offenders. Nibo has discontinued that size. I
have looked into replacing all with lewmar ports but the four in themain
cabin are approximately 1-3/4 shorter in length and about 3/4 in height
than the nibos. The forward and quarter berth ports are within an 1/8" to
the existing cutouts and overallsizes and should "drop in".
