I am looking for a boat or to crew on a boat, for the 2001 Chicago Mac race and was told that a charter may be in order from this fleet. We are a group of 8-10 people from (now don't laugh) Denver with tons of experience that includes 8 Macs, some Americas Cup experience( with DC in the 80's and 90's) and an old goat, plus about 10 years racing on the highly competitive santana 20 and J-24 circuits here in the west. The goal here is to have fun on a lake that you cannot spit across and to go in a straight line for more than 10 minutes.
we are looking to "keep it cheep", so the boat doesn't have to be maxed out though a chute would be nice. $2-4,000 bareboat is the range. we will provision and get the necessary insurance coverage. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me on this.

P.S. Please do not just reply to this message, I am on someone else's computer so I will not get the message. Just e-mail to gspz1@denver.infi.net
Thanks again,
