I have a 1988 J-35 and my problem is with the rudder. The aft trailing edge
has a 3/4" gap between the top of the rudder and the bottom of the hull when
straight ahead. When you trun the rudder about 30-40 degrees, the gap
disappears and the top of th rudder hits the hull. It appears to me that the
rudder post is raked 3/4" too far aft. Does anyone else have this problem?
What can be done to correct it? Any comments would be appreciated.
