This a short note to make sure you all know that there is a new co-chairperson for the North Americans.
Jim Scurlock will be taking my place as co-chairperson with Jeff Arndt. He will be a wonderful addition to the organization of this exciting regatta!

He will be glad for some more volunteers to aid with the multitude of tasks that await the fleet in planning and presenting an event of this caliber. Those of you who are willing to help, and have yet to be contacted, should take this opportunity to offer your services to Jeff and Jim. I will continue to help with some of the planning in the background.
I regret to say that Paul and I have decided to sell our lovely J35,
Rapture. We have loved the J35 and the fine racing that we have
experienced in the NW, SF and San Diego. We will greatly miss our
wonderful racing teammates and fine competitor friends (although our
friendships will outlive our J35 days).
We have done a great deal of soul-searching and believe, firmly, that
it is the right time to sell the boat.
