I have the subject mast with a 4" crack above the Partners. Estimated cost to repair is $600. I have just paid $12,280 to replace the same rig from Hall Spars.
Mark Brink says that the repaired Kenyon would be a better mast than the new Hall that just broke my bank. (He told me that after I bought the new one.)
I have a cruising sailor that wants to buy it and cut it off above the crack and install on his boat.
If a J35 guy can use it, I would prefer to keep it in the fleet, somewhere. We used it in the Point Pully,
Possession Point and Duwamish Head races with the crack in it. It didn't come down.
